This is probably the biggest essay-style vid I've done on this channel, the first since Captain Spirit that I've actually had to think about editing because I can't just play off sloppy work as a deliberate joke. Which isn't to say the editing in this isn't sloppy, just... I tried, okay?
Decided to analyse the recent #PlaneBae drama, which you can easily get caught up on with a Google search because for like three days it was all the internet wanted to talk about. The craziest thing about it is that for those three days, the subject of study in this video could basically do no wrong - people were mass-sharing campaigns to get her her own TV show, trying to help her score a Buzzfeed gig, the works. Now go check out any social media page and it's like this lady is the scum of the earth. So what's up with that? Almost seems like it points to some weird societal dissonance, possibly worth examining. Hence, the video above. I hope everybody enjoys it, I really tried to balance my political biases with a thorough attempt to explain and argue my point.
