That wraps up Halloween 2029. The biggest party yet, all characters in attendance. It's been a fun three weeks, but thankfully this series is on a clock. We'll get a new scene next time, but not before more Trio Trouble!

A Halloween party is underway in the Rose Quartz office in downtown Watertown. Hayley chats with Daisy as they both muse about finding jobs. “I’m saying we should get together at my mom’s or your place and just brainstorm some ideas. Like, it’s not about submitting resumes together, just feeling for ideas about what you or I can do for employment.” Daisy is optimistic, her youthful excitement infectious enough that Hayley agrees to a hangout.

Claryssa and Emmanuel join Hayley afterwards, having their own chat. “You’ll be happy to hear I’m ordering new parts for the gym. With how my clients, fiancé included, are becoming too big for the machines, I’ve figured it’s a worthwhile investment to get some additional custom equipment.” Special metal disks were already in use at the gym, better machines would help Hayley and others greatly.

“I appreciate that, Manny. I look forward to trying them out.”

A few drinks later, Hayley and others near the end of the evening. She spots Roger, sitting alone as he enjoys a final beer. “Spending the final half hour by yourself? That’s not like you, Roger.” Hayley says. Indeed, Roger had been partying it up and mingling with friends all evening.

“Ah, just needed to take a seat. There’s a lot going on and I didn’t want to give anyone the wrong impression. Sitting helps hide…erm…”

Hayley’s eyes narrow and her smile widens as she notices the bulge in Roger’s pants getting bigger. “Is there a costume in particular you’ve been enjoying? Hm? I thought Daisy had a boring idea for once but seeing what it’s been doing to you… I’ll have to wear this more often. That is, if I even fit in it much longer…”

Roger feels a bead of sweat trickle down his neck. He meekly nods in complete agreement.

There are a few giggles around the room as Hayley and Roger depart. Smiling and waving, the few that know Hayley well enough know she can get excitable when she’s had a few drinks and that the remainder of the pair’s evening will be a night to remember. Afterwards, the Halloween party closes up with resounding success. All had fun, all enjoyed the company of friends and family.
