Getting My Revenge! Caption

I'm almost done with the story, and I’d love your input on how it should end. I have two possible outcomes for the protagonist:
He successfully executes his plan and escapes. Set trap for his captor and at the same time play the cartel and then would changed his name, enrolled in college, and began building a life he could be proud of.
Gives up on his revenge, and submits to his captors. This version would include a montage of scenes involving various high-ranking officials, culminating in a group encounter.
Let me know which ending you’d prefer!
