Happy Halloween everyone, saw an opportunity too good to pass up to include in my journal. Ever wonder how I manage several flights of stairs? I take them a few steps at a time, today in particular to get to Hayley and Roger’s apartment in a high-rise downtown. Mom needs a quick breather so I take the lead, luckily our previous office building didn’t contain so many stairs and it didn’t strain her to work there. We ended up hiring two new staff members by the way, an accountant and a secretary.

As Daisy and I near the top, lugging a tote of drinks and party supplies, you can see my mom waving at Darlene and Blossom. I had the great idea to stitch some shirts together to make a Veronica Lodge costume and Beats came as Archie to match. Daisy dressed as Link and we even got my mom to be Purah. I told her she looks amazing in the glasses.

Hayley happily greeted us when we got to her door. I see my sister often enough but Hayley always surprises me when I see her. That girl is absolutely huge these days! Rogers got his hands full, that’s for sure. She dressed as Shadowheart from Baldurs Gate, the lot of us got together last weekend to work with Daisy and Roger to 3d-print some costumes. It’s always fun seeing what people come up with at these parties.

Doorways have always been a nuisance to me, moreso lately as I near twelve feet. I grew another inch and a third, 11’9” puts my giant butt almost to Beatrice’s chin when she stands behind it. It was the first time Claryssa showed a few people her engagement ring, starting the night right. We’ve got drinks, snacks and pizza is on it’s way. Roger was kind to offer help, but I weigh too much to actually use him for support.

This party went well, admittedly felt a bit cramped with so many people and of course a few people had one drink too many… But that’s how these gatherings go sometimes. It was great seeing everyone again and we all promised to do something else soon, be it a board-game night at my house or movies at Darlene’s. For now, I hope you all have a happy Halloween. Cya!
