May 2028 | Hayley is sharing a Revelation Page 1

Hayley recounts a day several months ago that resulted in Daisy accidentally taking a dose of her shady growth pills. “…If I counted right, five probably fell into her drink. I’ve taken up to nine in a day, less recently, so I don’t think there’s too much harm done… But Roger and I believe it might be what’s causing these latest…changes.”

“Hayley, the harm is that you were careless around my daughter! I had thought you would have more sense, being the eldest in the bunch. This… this medicine you take, it should be locked up. I respect a person’s decision to do what they want with their own body but when a foreign substance enters someone else’s body-“

Daisy interrupts the ribbing her mother was giving Hayley. “Mom, please… Hayley isn’t to blame for this, I was roughhousing in the middle of her move… Things happen, I’m the one that should have been careful around exposed pills. I know it’s a moot point too, but this isn’t exactly a ‘foreign substance’ here either, I’ve taken these before.” Tabitha’s expression softens as she exhales. The facts of the situation paint this as an accident, as the adult in the room it was her role to guide and teach, not assign blame.

Sullen for a moment and apologetic, Tabitha turns to Hayley. “I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have raised my voice. We all make mistakes, myself included, and I need to accept that my daughters aren’t so little anymore. You’re included in that too Hayley… Please forgive me.”

“I do…” Hayley says and accepts a hug from the older woman. It’s a collective intimate moment as Tabitha’s arms reach out to Ayyla and Daisy as well, the four embracing in an intimate group hug.

As the group hug ends Hayley’s phone buzzes with a notification. Letting out a gasp, the whole party suddenly sees a wonderful image on screen. Claryssa and Manny hold each other in a loving embrace, the former couple now announcing their engagement!

“Oh my gosh!” Tabitha says, matched by Daisy’s gleeful giggle and Ayyla’s own laughter. The four are quick to text out congratulations, the evening made brighter by the news.
