Back from a vacation and very refreshed! Here's another of Hayley's early pages, we see how she became friends with Daisy and a bit of progress on their respective growth journeys.

December 2019 | Hayley is now Friends with Daisy! Page 1

At a time when Hayley was still in her hospital internship, she had a rare moment of joy when one of the family members of a patient noticed her favorite accessory. Being often overlooked and practically stumbled over, the hospital job would have been a great entry to a career in helping others if not for a slightly vain tendency Hayley knew she had, wanting at least some attention drawn to herself. The praise came from a teenager named Daisy. “Oh cool, I like your ribbon!”

“Thanks…that means a lot.” Hayley says.

A few months later the pair come across each other again while shopping at Joyce’s emporium. Introducing her mother, Tabitha, Daisy was more than happy to exchange numbers and strike up the beginnings of a friendship. There was something radiant about Daisy that Hayley found endearing and her social circles had dwindled in recent years... So a new friend was welcome. Over the years their bond formed and in the present-day shopping, movies and activities soon are the norm between the two.

On a warm fall day, Hayley awaits her friend for an afternoon of relaxation. Their interests aligned when it came to wardrobes and accessories, though Daisy tended to prefer lighter colors as opposed to Hayley’s usual purples and deeper hues. Daisy was a senior in Highschool while Hayley had just finished college, making Hayley the more mature one at times. They are a foil to each other in temperaments and expressions, Daisy often the bubbly one while Hayley generally stays reserved.

Each girl has been taking Macro-X for several months now. “Enjoy another growth spurt, beanstalk…?” Hayley chides, but it’s all in good fun. Daisy giggles and offers her condolences.

“I don’t know why it’s affecting me so much, I only take one every other day…” Hayley’s daily pill has resulted in meagre gains in comparison to Daisy’s achievement of five foot, ten inches tall.

Daisy brought a pedicure kit and the two settle in and paint their nails. After chatting about work and school, the conversation turns to Daisy’s sister. “I saw her like a month ago. She’s fantastically huge now, Dee… I can’t imagine how good that must feel.”

“What? Good? You’re kidding, right? Hayley we like, never have milk anymore. And we can’t wrestle anymore, she’s a total pain in the butt when I want my turn on somethin’.”

“Daisy I don’t mean… Nevermind. Do you want to catch a movie after this?” Hayley asks, to Daisy’s agreement.
