Hayley and Daisy chat with Joyce on a Sunday afternoon. The shop owner in the city’s small mall had appreciated the frequent visits from the pair over the years, though their unusual increases in height had made them more and more difficult to provide for. “Listen dears, it’s only natural that we don’t stock your size.” Hayley’s wardrobe issues have come full circle but this time she finds herself smiling at the news.

Joyce doesn’t give up though. “But hear me out, I’ll introduce you to my colleague. I’m certain Daisy is familiar; her sister’s column put out a review on the Boutique a while back.” Joyce takes her hour lunch and Daisy ducks through the doorway, smiling as she sees Hayley enjoying the low door frame.

"Just think, if you weren’t wearing my old flats you’d bump more than your forehead, Lee."

The trio head down the street and Joyce gets personal for a moment. “You know, I’ve had you two as customers for years but I’ve never asked what the deal is. Care to share?”

“Well, Lee over here took it upon herself to become absolutely saturated with like, sketchy growth supplements. That right?” Hayley responds in affirmation.

“You can tease me but you can’t say it hasn’t worked. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to look into your eyes, Daisy. …And let’s not forget you took a few pills too.”

It doesn’t take long to introduce Hayley to Gracelyn, the two finally connecting. Joyce and Gracelyn sift through new stock and pull out garments that not only fit the two amazons but match their personalities. For Daisy, a daring schoolgirl mix that will turn heads at college. For Hayley, casualwear that accentuates musculature; both stylish and comfortable.

Hayley and Daisy leave Gracelyn’s boutique to grab a bite and discuss job opportunities. Daisy had one semester to go before graduating college, Hayley needing a new career as well. Hayley mused about being a seamstress, figuring she would save money by learning the craft as well as helping her friends with clothing woes.
