Betty is always a pleasure to write and look at. Don't you all agree? Enjoy some of this workplace drama as we get December's Extra pages! Text below, I'm re-rendering some for quality but these came out great if I do say so myself.

Man: "Why is the office shaking-

Fucking hell, Who is that? She’s huge!"

Betty: "Pick your jaw up off the floor and button your shirt. She’s more than just big. It’s admirable, really."

As the toy she had just enjoyed headed out, Betty slips back into her own garments and sighs. Heels clacking, she struts across the room to the section of the office that Rose Quartz frequents, her only clients as of late. Her sigh was caused by a pair of topics that needed addressing. The first was easy, the property owners Betty Whitmore reported to had come to the decision of selling the building. The model of renting out space to small businesses at least needed more than a handful of clients. Rose Quartz would need to find somewhere new to set up shop. The second topic…

Betty looked on at the trio; a mishmash of friends and family that have connections to her own sister Claryssa. Be it that she was classmates with the sister of the giantess before her or former roommates with a different big friend, the lot of them were more than just business partners and Betty knew she hadn’t been on her best behavior as of late when dealing with the crew. An apology was needed.

The office news landed easy, though Betty didn’t get a chance to continue. Rose Quartz had news of their own; Tabitha would be retiring for the second time of her life, trusting the pair to continue with the foundation she had helped establish. In her place, they proposed a position to Betty.

Tabitha: "I figured this office would close eventually and honestly it’s great timing. Ms. Whitmore… Betty, would you like to work for this company as my replacement?"

Ayyla: "We would love to have you, forgive us for going behind your back but Claryssa gave a good recommendation and we need someone with a background in property management."

Betty’s surprise was visible. Her concerns were that she’d gone too far at a recent party, Ayyla’s grandmother having laid Betty out the next morning with a stern conversation about respecting her own sister Claryssa and the friends she kept. The berating wasn’t even for the choice of costume, but the behavior that led to it. It had ‘reminded Madelyn of her own boldness’, though an apology was advised. Betty for the first time in years felt a few tears wet her eyes.

Betty: "Moi? You can’t be serious… I owe… you all an apology, for how I’ve acted lately. And I’m not …a good fit for your venture-"

Tabitha: "You don’t have to accept, but we know what we’re getting into. Those walls aren’t exactly thick, you know."

Betty: "I can’t s-say I regret it, but you really…"

Ayyla: "Yes, we want you on the team. Trust me, you do what makes you happy and I’m no stranger to challenging public norms these days. Take a week to decide, we can answer your questions if you have any."
