Halloween 2027, week 1! It's a three parter this year, similar to last year. Tells a cohesive story. Text below!

It’s been a while since I covered a Halloween Party in my journal, normally I just let you all know what happened before or after the fact. So, welcome! My grandmother was kind enough to host this year, the little college get-together becoming a reliable and steady event to look forward to. We’ll have the usual crew over plus some newcomers! Costume wise, I’m fortunate enough that 3d printing is cheap and easy these days. It may look real, but this suit of armor isn’t actually metal. Daisy and Roger knew how to make all the pieces after taking some measurements, it’s amazing what they pulled together.

You may have seen in the previous page that Daisy dressed as Samus and both my Grandma Madelyn and Mom came as French maids. Beats pulled off an amazing ‘Rosie the Riveter’, Darlene absolutely nailed a ‘Stripperella’ and Blossom ironically came as Buttercup! Everyone else’s costumes were great too, but you’ll see why Betty’s caused a little bit of drama. All in good fun though, the night went pretty smoothly.

My birthday is next month, I’ll probably hit 11 feet tall at the same time. 26 years old…can you imagine? I don’t feel it, that’s for sure. While I’m throwing some numbers at you, I might as well complete the set. I grew almost a full inch last month, could feel a stretch of nights when I was sore in the morning. With our new measuring scales I weigh 1630lbs, you just know it takes more than ever to feed me. I’d commented a long time ago that it takes a bit to get me tipsy, that’s especially true now. Wine is potent though and I don’t need that much to loosen up.

Not that I haven’t noticed, but damn…Darlene’s gotten chesty!

We’ve become great friends in the years after graduation. Our business is booming, Mom has helped enough to begin considering retirement again and might assist us in vetting a replacement. As the night went on I had a few bottles of wine, so I got a bit touchy. Mom found my heeled plate boots interesting… or jarring, might have to ask her which. No matter how big I grow, I’ll always be her daughter. She may have accepted the invite to last year’s Halloween party out of politeness but I could definitely tell she was looking forward to this one.

Here’s where I’ll wrap up. Hayley and Roger arrived as characters from an old game ‘Hi-Fi Rush’, their costumes were fantastic. Claryssa, Manny and Betty arrived as lumberjacks a little bit later, all in all making for a night to remember. With spooky tunes on the TV, plenty of desserts to share and good conversations all around, I’m thankful to have great family and friends around me. Enjoy yourselves everyone, just not too much! Cya!
