Hello and welcome to another patron-exclusive character preview!

Today we're going to be talking about ... Aslaug Bjornsdottir!

Together with the Bjornsson twins, Thorkeld and Throfinn, and of course, Bjorn Greymane himself, Aslaug completes the key cast of the Shieldmaiden questline.

Those of northern blood have always been of a healthy constitution. Bjorn stands six feet tall, and both his sons at 6'5", but his daughter towers over them all at a whopping seven feet! In her veins, the Nordlings claim in awe, runs the blood of the Maid of the North herself, the Old Blood.

A highly-experienced shieldmaiden in her own right, Aslaug is the one who passes down her old armour for Claire's use, thus giving her a shieldmaiden outfit of her own.

During the Shieldmaiden questline, Aslaug represents the aggressive pathway to your goals - that is to say, she advocates beating (and/or fucking!) any monsters in their way into submission, and taking what they need by force.

Bjorn, on the other hand, represents the peaceful pathway, advocating negotiating with monsters, finding alternate routes, and trying for a non-aggressive resolution.

Thorfinn and Thorkeld remain aboard the ship, providing long-ranged artillery support whenever Claire blows a war-horn, that will help clear paths and even kill monsters.

And before you ask - yes, there's scenes planned for all members of the expedition, including rather dominant lesbian ones with Aslaug. :)

The Shieldmaiden questline will be the last part of the 0.17 update, coming in after Dargan Town + the Badlands are complete!
