Feature Update Sneak-Preview

First of all, thank you all for your support of Dogeminer development—the internet’s most wow game! Steam 2020 let's do it!! (PS. Currently looking into how to best modularize development to be able to deploy for mobile apps without too much extra work, woot!)

A new feature will be dropping this week (seems stable enough at least haha) to give incentive to players who currently play with ad-blockers, to instead whitelist the game. This way they'll get the same rewards from this feature as those who do not block ads. When you support the game, the game supports you!

It felt necessary with the rising use of ad-blockers going up; you can still play the game as intended with an ad-blocker active though.

But, coming to a doge near you, the Mystery Box is getting ready to be opened! This odd fortune was just that, a fortune. Until it suddenly felt like opening up!

It has the possibility to drop an item from any location you've unlocked, even some loot that does not exist anywhere else - and for every 10 times you open it, you get two items! Many wow. The catch is that there is a cooldown period - starting at 20 minutes after the first opening, it'll gradually increase to 25 minutes for the 10:th box, until you get the double reward and then reset back to 20.

Here’s how it works: Once you find the Mystery Box-fortune, the box will appear in the upper left of the game, near your inventory of pickaxes and fortunes, along with a countdown timer. Once the timer gets to zero, click the box to reveal your prize. The more prizes you collect, the better your rewards!
