Ah, that chapter really shows how good you are at managing cycles of tension and release. It's one thing to have a hero show up and blow away the villain. Blowing away the villain's cliches too? Lovely. Really hoping we can see some Quasi stats next chapter, courtesy of the demon's perspective as he realizes what he's up against and suffers some form of breakdown. Will he run away? Beg to become a servant? Surrender in hopes that a Gentleman would feel obliged to accept it?
