Hiya folks. Time for some long overdue progress updates.

HARDWARE UPGRADES
Recent liquid simulation tasks made it pretty clear it's time to upgrade them hardwares. Still in the process of getting my work environment up and running after re-installing everything (and almost dying from all the cable management), but already the responsiveness boost feels nice and refreshing. Liquid and cloth sims iteration process should be way less of a time sink. Also switching to Cycles render engine is on the table now, for future projects at least. Gotta test how viable that is first though.

CLEM BEACH SHORT ANIMATION
Fun little short animation, for which mocap data and neat storyboard has been gathering dust for a while now. Decided it would be a good opportunity to test out EEVEE Next with this one. And assemble the project in the mean time since all ingredients are there already. Nothing pretty to show yet, but here's an experimental skin shader preview we did. May or may not end up in the final thing. The colored, light reactive character outline turned out nice looking though.

And an experimental poster with superimposed details mixed in. Could be a cool way to improve poster image quality going forward.

ASHLEY PREVIEWS

Cloth simulations and skin deformations are done. Still some minor clipping here and there but PHEW. Took a while. Also featuring upgraded panties model.

Slow motion pantyhose!

What's the difference?

Is there something preventing you guys from providing more than one update post a month? Would it be possible to give us something substantial about Thirst Up this month to make up for all the silence about it that's gone on for so long? Many of us have been waiting literally years for it, and considering how long it's been in development and how anticipated it's been, perhaps you could start making it a priority?

That RE4 vid is looking NIOCE! Can’t wait to see it!

Brandon

Not gonna lie. It would be nice to see updates on it monthly if possible. Realize that there are other projects but to at least read about its status would be cool.

I preferred Clem's model from Fair Played

Gary Turbo

I like watching those videos in slowmo at 0.25x speed. Makes you appreciate all the little details! Clem looking good as always 😍

Bryan Gos

Can’t wait for Ashley

Pike Roast

Can't wait for more clem content. Your work looks spectacular as always. :D

LuvYa

Fabric details and physics look amazing! I have a fetish for ripping/stripping action, so it makes me excited to see these kinds of possibilities. Side note : thanks for taking the time to show discarded clothes, I think it's hot. The Clementine beach pictures look great! Skin and sweat details are solid. Thanks for the updates; glad to see all this work continue!

CrazyLace

I understand, but it would be nice to at least have regular previews for it like you used to give us so that we can see for ourselves that it's not dead. Is there something you can go ahead and post to show us where you're at with it?

Slate

Can't wait for the Clem one! Probably shouldn't be following right now in my financial situation but damn it your stuff is totally worth it.

ImBack

We're happy people are still looking forward to it, makes it worth it. It was our first project in Blender and had a number of setbacks and basically had to be completely re-done. It isn't going to be some monumental magnum opus, but we will finish it and share when it is ready. Thank you for your interest!

Has Thirst Up just been forgotten? What's the status on it?
