[OC] Little kid gets a visit from the Devil
Added 2023-12-29 22:52:18 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I’ve finally gotten around to translating this one. This comic was my final project for drawing class this year in college, and I’m pretty proud of it! It is traditionally inked and digitally rendered and cleaned up, so it was a very new process for me.
I don’t usually post much Original content, but I figure I might as well show this one off. This entire comic was very experimental and very fun to make, and I’m pretty proud of it! I’ve had these characters for a very long time and they have come and gone from design to design and I’m finally happy with them enough to showcase.
I’d like to introduce to you Archangel Mikael, born with a stick up his ass; miss Lucyfer, just about the worst; and of course, baby Jesus 2.0- Just kidding. His name is Gabriel. But that’s the gist of it. The general premise is, God had a child with a mortal woman and he sent his strongest soldier to his hardest battle; look after a baby.

Your art work, in any form with any characters, original or otherwise, is always going to draw me in. I love how you play so well with light and dark with these characters. And the storyline, however brief, is so intriguing. I love how much the artwork displays the sinister unknown of the future - will the baby grow up to turn on his father, or will Mikael be able to keep him on a path of light? The way you’ve built both of the characters up fits so well with their roles of light and dark, pure and tainted. I’m absolutely smitten and would love to know more about them or see them more.
