Yu-Gi-Oh Spirit Duelist c5

As Raynor was lying in his bed, his Spellcaster spirit was puffing her cheeks at him.

“Hmph!” 

“What is it?” He asked.

“That girl! She is interested in you! I just got you, and you're already aiming for another!” She complained to him.

“What are you talking about? I am not aiming at anything.” He rolled his eyes at her.

“Besides, I think it’s she who is aiming and all that. Even then, it's not for me but what I can do to help her.” 

Magician’s Valkyrie floated over, with a burst of light, her clothes changed, she was dressed in his t-shirt… only….

And then ended up resting on top of him, lying in his hands.

“Hmm, is that so… in that case, I am fine. But if she tries to use you. I will show her why Spellcasters are one of the most dangerous types of Duel Monsters.” She said with a cold voice. Her dedication made Raynor hug her even tighter.

The Valkyrie is such a cute spirit!

“Hehehe~”

After a while, Raynor had fallen asleep before he even realised he was flying through the spirit realm. 

When he understood what was going on, he was standing in the spot where he had left last night!

“Oh… back here.” He looked around. The first thing he checked was his duel disk. His lifepoints were back at 4000!

A sigh escaped from his lips! This was great!

“Hmph! I was just having fun resting in your hands, and now we have to continue travelling.” His spellcaster complained for a second, as she once again floated over to him and hugged him from the back. She began to enjoy doing it that way.

“We can do that in the morning or after the classes.” He replied, as his gaze went to the fortress the dragon was protecting.

“Do you think there is something of value in the fortress? Why would it guard it then?” He asked her.

“Could be, I never was in this kind of ruins before, as you have noticed, we spellcasters don’t stay in these kinds of areas.” She explained to him. “ Dragons like your Tyrant Dragon or Red Eyes won’t allow me to travel far.” 

“Makes sense.” His hand went to her, stroking her back.

“Hehehe, but with you around, I will be able to see all these areas I have never been~.” She giggled, happy with her current development.

“Good to hear.”

As he said that he began his trip to the derelict-looking fortress.

Once he was inside, he realised that it was very old; he couldn’t see any furniture or other materials, only stone.

Most likely hundreds, if not thousands, of years old.

“Hmm?”

For a second, he stopped and looked around.

“Do you sense something?” Valkyrie looked around, using her senses to look for enemies.

“Yes… it a strange feeling…”

He looked around for more before taking a corridor and walking there.

After a while, he stopped in front of an old door.

“I can sense something there as well.” Valkyrie slowly moved. Curiosity overtook her desire to cuddle.

Raynor nodded as he opened the doors and walked in. What he could see was a jar and a pot… radiating strange energy.

The jar was reddish yellow, and the pot was green.

“These are!” The duelist's eyes widened as he dashed over. 

“Pot of Greed and Jar of Greed!” 

“I heard of them before.” The spellcaster girl nodded, she had heard of these cards.

“I can guess they are useful to human duelists, because for us, not so much.” She commented on the Pot and Jar.

“I suppose it is good for anyone who has a decent amount of cards.”

As he said that, he walked over and placed his hand on the jar. He sent a pulse of spirit energy, and the item glowed, turning into a trap card that flew into his deck, and then the whole deck glowed.

He repeated the same thing with the bigger pot, and the item became the famous spell card that is well shown in the anime.

“Nice! Now we need to find more derelict fortresses and castles.” Raynor joked as he looked at her.

“...You know…” She pondered for a second.

“I do know of a place. However, it’s a ritual site. I do not know if it could work for you.” Valkyrie said with a thoughtful look.

“It’s a ritual site that could bring to life a very powerful magician, one of the strongest.” She continued.

The Duelist's eyes perked up, ritual magician? Isn’t it the Magician of Black Chaos?

“Magician of Black Chaos?” He suggested a name.

“Oh? That’s the one! Though… it has been centuries since one was summoned, the site has been abandoned.” She swiftly nodded, that name rang a bell.

“I see. Do you think I could turn that site into a card?” He asked.

“No idea, it could happen, if you were able to turn jars and pots into cards, it could work with sites too.”

Valkyrie never considered that stuff like pots and jars could become cards. Jewellery is a different thing; they have magical traits.

But then again, she is young compared to true magicians who have a huge amount of experience and knowledge.

“Good to— know…” That moment, Raynor realised something… he looked through the fortress window. He could see walls!

‘Castle Walls Trap Card! Of course!’

He dashed towards the doors, wanting to see if this theory could work!

“W-Wait for me~!” The Valkyrie chased after her duelist.

The Slifer duelist arrived at the fortress walls. Now that he inspected the place closely, he could feel certain magic was there, being used to power these walls.

No wonder they survived the test of time.

With that in mind, he placed his hand on the wall and used his spirit energy to spread through all the walls and then… pulled it.

The walls in the whole area glowed and then started to change form and rushed to his hand…becoming a card.

“...A trap card?” Valkyrie looked surprised to see him holding a trap card from the fortress walls.

“Castle Walls, for one turn, it raises defence points by 500. It works perfectly to make a monster survive a battle.” He showed the card before storing it in his deck.

He is on a roll; in less than an hour, he got one spell card and two trap cards!

“Let’s go! We might find more fortresses or maybe caves~.” Raynor’s voice was almost singing as he was happy.

“Sure~ let’s go.”

As the pair continued with their trip, rogue dragons would emerge. It made Raynor grin as he pulled out his favourite fireball spell card.

“I use a dark pendant on you. Get those 500 points, just in case.” Raynor swiftly placed his equipt card on his Valkyrie.

“Great! Let me help you finish them off!” The Spellcaster rushed forward as she released a blast towards the Blackland Fire Dragon.

A normal level four dragon and Raynor send several fireballs at the approaching other dragons.

Before long, there was a small mist of energy. The Slifer duelist swiftly pulled out his three cards and made energies rush into these cards.

Sure enough, they glowed and changed.

“What the…” Raynor looked baffled, as all three of them became dragons… a dragon he had never known existed!

“Red Eyes Juvenile Dragon?” 

It was a level four monster with an attack power of 1500 and a defence of 1100.

But this was not all, as there were three more cards.

“...and a full set of Black Dragon Chicks… this time they have their effects.”

To his surprise, the effect was a Red-Eyes Dragon and Juvenile fits… it means he can summon it… But it is pointless at this moment, as Juvenile Dragon was a level four monster.

It doesn’t need a tribute.

‘But Juvenile effect allows me to get a Red Eyes from the deck or graveyard to my hand upon successful summon.’

‘With effects like that, I can have a full lineup of Red Eyes on the field.’ 

Raynor was pleased with this whole dragon egg thing.

All of a sudden, he hugged his valkyrie.

“It was a great idea after all, now we need more eggs!” He joked, as he would want to collect all the dragons from eggs and raise them to maturity.

‘I wonder if Blue Eyes has this? Forget Kaibaman, just have chicks and juveniles.’

“Hehehe, told you it would be great!” The girl puffed her chest, or at least tried, as she was in his hands.

Not that she thought it would be that great of a plan, as she thought that dragons would be a good experience for her duelist.

Regardless, the group continued to explore. Most of the time, they would meet enemies between levels three and four. There were no enemies at a greater level.

That was when Raynor walked around the tower’s area.

ROAR

A huge beast descended and landed in front of Raynor.

One side of this dragon was dark, and the other was white! It was a dragon of two colours!

“That’s Light and Darkness Dragon!” Valkyrie commented

“Summon me! It appears a worthy opponent has appeared before us!” Tyrant Dragon spoke in Raynor’s mind.

“Right on time!” With a hand motion, he pulled out Tyrant Dragon’s card and placed it on the monster field.

With a burst of light, Raynor’s brown Dragon manifested.

“Tyrant Dragon? Not bad, human, it would seem Dragon Lord’s worries were not unfounded.” The dragon before them spoke.

“Of course they are, before long, my Duelist will have a powerful deck to face your Lord.” Tyrant Dragon roared with a grin.

“We shall see!”

The black and white beast roared and released a stream of black and white energies towards them.

‘Stupid, your attack rating is lower!’ Raynor snorted, but he still used a trap card, Reinforcement.

Tyrant Dragon roared as a red aura surrounded the beast. A boost in power gave the Dragon more than adequate power to blast the enemy away.

ROAR

“Boring! You don’t need to power me up even when the enemy is weaker!” 

With that said, the dragon once again was gone and went to sleep.

“...yep… they are lazy,” Raynor commented as he sensed his beast simply fall asleep without wasting time!

“Well…that’s that…” Valkyrie commented from the side. She was a bit taken aback by how swiftly everything transpired.

“Anyway! This should be enough for one of the juveniles to grow into an adult!” Magician’s Valkyrie reminded him of that

“Right!”

Raynor quickly pulled out one of the Red Eyes cards and made it absorb the spirit energy.

The card glowed and transformed into the iconic Red-Eyes Black Dragon!

“Oh…” The Slifer Red duelist looked at the card with stars in his eyes.

This was one of his favourite cards. Alogside other original cards. He needs that Blue Eyes White Dragon!

“Finally.”.

“You still need a couple more great kills like that,” Valkyrie commented as she saw his look.

“Indeed. I suppose if we circle the tower and get closer, more powerful dragons will emerge.” He suggested that it had worked before, that the white and black dragons descended…

“Probably, I am not an expert in this kind of thing. I leave strategies to you.” Magician’s Valkyrie shrugged. She is more of an attack-first, ask-questions-later type of person.

“Since that is the case, let’s proceed.” Raynor smiled and proceeded to circle some more and wait for something powerful to descend.

The pair continued with that in mind. The Slifer duelist didn’t realise yet, but all he was doing was making Lord of Dragons lose his minions, as all of the strong dragons are his followers.

Except for the Tyrant Dragon, as this beast was a rebel.

Before long, more dragons descended, one of them was a familiar one to Raynor, as it was Meteor Dragon.

“It would seem my luck is great. I will be able to finish my Red Eyes collection.” The duelist raised his hand with a tyrant dragon card.

Before him, two powerful-looking dragons were standing.

“Come, you wanted a fight! Then you can have these!” 

ROAR

The Brown Dragon manifested behind the Spirit Duelist.
