Happy New Year!! (+ I'm an idiot/about pausing Patreon)

Is it the new year already?? Time sure goes by fast! Well, let's welcome 2024 and hope it's gonna be a kind year to all of us! I hope the new year will bring you much joy and success ♥

As for me, I really don't have any resolutions this year (I'm never able to keep them up anyway lol), I'm just hoping it's gonna be an year better than the last (people in my discord server know as I tend to give updates whenever something relevant happens, but it's been a lot of health, money and family issues this year...the last one being grandma's serious surgery 10 days ago, and my mom's upcoming one in February), and I also hope to improve myself both my anxiety, so that I can get to be more active with public posts, talking to people etc., and also with my art, as I've been feeling pretty unhappy with it during the past few years.

And about that topic, I've already mentioned this in the discord server, but the type of rewards on Patreon will probably start slowly shifting: I feel like focusing so much on bases is making my art stagnate a lot, so I'll cut back a bit on adopt-type bases (which are the most time consuming and tbh, boring to do) and I'll make more ych-type bases, species-specific bases and p2u outfits instead!
This does not mean I'll stop doing adopt-type of bases completely, as I'm aware you guys tend to like them more (at least as far as sales go), but they'll be significantly less than before.
I'm also hoping to someday shift away from bases, doing them only occasionally and focusing on my comics, stories and fanstuff instead, but it won't be for a looong while as I wouldn't be able to pay my bills with that kind of content x,D

Another important thing I wanted to mention is about my Patreon's pause, you may remember from this post that I wanted to pause it for this month, but with everything going on with my family I was convinced I had put the page on hold and....turns out I didn't. Go me. :,3
So this month you are gonna get charged and will get your monthly rewards as usual (I will soon message €50 tier patrons for theirs as it's a bit more tricky), the pause is gonna be on February instead! So for that month no billing and no rewards ---I went ahead and turned on the pause yesterday so I wouldn't forget this time, ahah;;;

So here's a rough schedule for the next couple months!

Jan. 2nd-8th: work on Patreon rewards
Jan. 9th: offline,  getting ready for Disneyland trip
Jan. 10th-13th: super offline, me and Jai are on my birthday Disneyland Paris trip!! (wish me luck, it's the first time I travel alone outside of Italy and I'm so nervous...but I've saved for this for years and booked it more than an year ago so I'm super excited for it!!)
Rest of January: a mix of working on owed stuff (mostly the recent commission opening's WIPs), but mostly I will rest/work on personal projects
February: preparing the rewards for March, working on any urgent/older owed stuff, but mostly will treat is as an off month, working on personal projects, practicing and the like; will also take any days off accordingly for my mom's surgery as needed
March: working schedule goes back to the usual one and a day-by-day work schedule will be posted weekly on the Discord server, so focus will be back on Patreon stuff, owed works, etc.! Will try sneaking in fanart and, in the weekends, personal stuff weekly, but we'll see!
