Such activity might even be tacitly condoned as a form of instruction for her eventual marriage or at least tolerated as an acceptable way of discharging the urges resulting from hormonal surges at that age since such activity would leave intact a particular membrane upon which a ridiculously high value was placed by the patriarchal system.
