Today I wanted to do a little development post to better explain what can you expect for the next update and the near future. As you may already know, A Night in Amazonia will be a very special Mission, since it'll be completely different in regards to your gender: an alternative reality were males are nearly objects and females rule in a ruthless way. This means that you will play a completely different role in society and the way people treat you will differ a lot. Being a male means that your agent must go undercover as a slave and people will treat you according to your social status. This doesn't mean you can't try to defy the slave role with your rolls, because you can, and it can go well or it can go wrong, that will depend on your stats. In this sense, being a male will mean that rolling the dice (in general) will be harder than rolling as a female, but the consequences of the failed rolls will be mostly narrative. On the other hand, being a female means that you're way up in the social prestige pyramid and that people will treat you with respect, meaning that rolling the dice as a female (in general) will be easier than rolling as a male, but the consequences of the negative rolls may have a higher impact on your morale, since people will probably expect more of you as a female.

In regards to the interactions in this world, you will have 3 main encounters in this mission, two of them with relevant character which will have an original design. One of them you already saw in the first teaser which is Chief Deb, and the other one (if you read the text teasers) will be Miss Levy, a powerful woman with whom you can establish different kinds of relationships according to your rolls. You may have to come back to Amazonia some other time, so keep in mind that what you do now with this people can have repercussions in the future. There will be also an optional same-sex encounter for the male version, FYI!

File 3 is not only another mission as you may have guessed for now. During this mission, your character will start building a more complex character with deep psychological implications. You will notice a more gradual change of character according to your rolls, and we're also thinking to implement a Dominant/Submissive axis which could open new branches and paths and will give you another dimension for you to interact with the world. Don't expect this mechanic to be implemented for next update, it may take a little longer. On the other hand, after this Mission will also open the possibility for you to modify your body, which will also have narrative repercussions during an intimate encounter 😉

Last, but not least, we will also be implementing (for this next update) a "photo album" which you can check in your File drawer. This album will have inside all the (uncensored) original art and pin-ups that you will be able to collect during your Missions or encounters with other Agency characters. For example, Aleena's original pin-ups implemented during the last update will be available for you to check whenever you want, or even the upcoming Lucy pin-ups, like the one shown in the last teaser. We know that depending on your rolls you may or may not see a certain original artwork image. DON'T PANIC IF YOU CAN'T COLLECT THEM ALL! We're testing novel ways for you to have the possibility of revisiting (or even recreating) a certain event from the past that will allow you to earn the image if you want. After all, that's what the Daedalus is for, right? Remember that you can always download all the raw versions of the original art files here and the full HD versions and character posters here. 

I don't think I have much left to say, my dears. We're working hard as always to bring you the best we can, and again, we thank you deeply for making this project real, since it'll be impossible without you. During the next days I'll be posting the next teaser for the female POV and for Lucy's original art.
