1.3 Blog Update

Quarantine has been rough on all of us, but Kitty and I feel very fortunate to have each other. In the meantime, we've been working on the 1.3 update, spending a lot of time rethinking how we want the story to progress, what game mechanics to implement, etc. In general, we've reduced difficulty/"grindiness", and added a lot more choices to increase purity and corruption, two stats which will have a huge impact on the story and the choices you can take.
On the home front, the health crisis has pushed back our plans to purchase a laptop so we can work more efficiently, since the economic situation is quite unstable. Hopefully we'll be able to resolve that. Furthermore, Kitty has been sick for the last few days (no coronavirus though, just a common flu), so she's been focusing on getting better.
