In France today we are celebrating Mother's Day and for this occasion download this free light sign translated into several languages including Simslish to celebrate the mothers' day.
But why May 25, 2024 in France? And not like the Americans and the Belgians on May 12?
Are you ready for a little French history?
Since 1950 a law has provided that Mother's Day would take place on the last Sunday of May so that it does not fall on the same day as a public holiday. Pentecost Monday which has been an official public holiday since March 1886 in France.
Therefore Mother's Day in France can also be held in June as in 2023 so as not to coincide with Pentecost.
