Best of 2020
Added 2020-12-31 13:09:34 +0000 UTCJumping on that #BestOf2020 band wagon. What a crazy year... art wise though, I think it was one of my best yet? I had to take a couple months off, but I made a conscious effort to push myself with new and ambitious techniques. I’m incredibly proud of how some of these came out.
Besides original art, this was a good year for fan art. I didn’t do a ton, but this really showcases how I’m trying to push myself to be comfortable with multiple styles; I can go more realistic or I can go full chameleon, when I’m so inclined.
And lastly a representative selection of pages from this year’s comics. Each issue of Tales of Schlock (besides being a bit of porny dreck) is a workshop I put myself through to push my boundaries. I started doing a lot more with light and shadow this year and I love the results.
