Ah, thanks to the time travel aspect of the story, we know exactly what her child will be like; the timid and meek Noire, who grew up being the unlucky subject of her mother's magical experiments as she was growing up. Part of my fascination with pregnant Tharja is that it represents the middle point between her being (using other people's descriptions) 'a creepy stalker chick' and 'the worst mother of all time'. In this image, she seems very pleased indeed to be carrying the offspring of 'her fated one'.
