December bonus #3: Famimaga Video issue 10

Apologies for the lack of a bonus video last weekend. I promised myself I wouldn't let the process of selling my home and moving to a new one impact my output. And yet! I let that one video slip. Oh, woe. The shame. The humiliation.

Anyway, I'll post two this weekend to make up for it.

Today, we have another Famimaga Video. It's weird how they keep regurgitating some of the same promo material over and over again, but I have to assume that's down to sponsorships and the fact that Bandai didn't have any new material besides SD Gundam Capsule Heroes. Typical Bandai, phoning it in.

There is some cool stuff here, though. Love the CES report, which doesn't deliver much in the way of game material but does showcase some fantastic trade show footage in which everyone looks as 1989 as you could possibly imagine. And the Famicom commercial ranking feature at the end includes some really cool commercials that I had never seen before.

As always, I wish I had stumbled across Famimaga Video and these other VHS tapes I've been digitizing sooner. They'd have made for some incredible B-roll in some of the NES Works episodes I've already completed. Alas! Hindsight is something-something.
