Turbo Works #000: Analogue Duo
Added 2023-12-11 16:00:09 +0000 UTCHey, so a bit of a change-up this week. Since I've published a video under an embargo here, this week's video goes live for Patrons and normies at the same time, a couple of days earlier than usual. I hope this is not too distressing for you.
Turbo Works won't actually begin until next summer, but I've been immersing myself in the history and logistics of the TurboGrafx-16 throughout most of 2023. So the Analogue Duo arrives at an almost perfect time. "Almost" because it means that I will be able to use the Duo for recording Works footage (I'll have access to original media as needed but won't have to rely on 35-year-old electronics) BUT this episode had to spin its wheels a bit laying down some of the particulars that would normally have come out over the course of regular Turbo Works coverage to explain what makes the Duo's capabilities notable.
Anyway... enjoy, and we'll back on the regular schedule next week. (Hopefully this video will no longer be private when this post goes live.)

TG-16 is a special console for me and I'm delighted you'll be covering it this year. I've owned and sold the system a couple times but have always held onto my copy of Deep Blue, which I still find creepy to this day. Looking forward to your coverage :)
