Hey all, I'm running a little behind this week due to illness. I should have your regularly scheduled NES Works up by the weekend. In the meantime, here is a make-good: A VHS rip of a V-Jump promotional video tape for Final Fantasy VI. Now, you may be saying to yourself, "Self, why would I possibly care about some huckster promoting an old video game in rapid-fire Japanese over top of VHS-grade game footage?" Well, Self, you're only asking that because you don't realize that this video features some footage of the development team being absolute goofballs.

There's also an anime promo at the end that I was positive depicted some rough draft version of Chrono Trigger until I looked it up and discovered that, no, it's just a real cartoon that turned out to be suspiciously similar to the game (or vice-versa, I suppose). Granted, they were both ripping off Nadia of the Blue Water and Castle in the Sky, so it all works out regardless.
