Added 2023-03-15 11:50:39 +0000 UTCAnother pair of pleasant surprises today with Shooting Gallery, a game that reads like a weak Duck Hunt knockoff but has far more (1) history behind it and (2) substance than that; and Quartet, a game that defrauds players with its very title and should have been an absolute abomination but ends up having a more interesting and considered approach to game design than its arcade counterpart. Sega, you wily scamps, you. Always so unpredictable.

Can't help but compare Shooting Gallery's box art to Duck Hunt. It almost looks like what Duck Hunt's box would have been if they'd used art instead of pixels.
