Next episode will be (1) along in a more timely fashion and (2) a lot more fun!

Ironically, I did finally find a boxed copy of the EU release, which arrived while I was traveling over the weekend… too late to help with this.

2018-03-27 13:29:46 +0000 UTCI don't want to be that guy but...it looks like you missed one of the game's major mechanics. You see those dice on the bottom of the screen? Those reflect the blocks you've hit, and you can make various kinds of hands with different values, like poker. When you hit down on the D-pad, you'll basically spend the hand you have to eliminate some lines. A straight (which I think you have to build in numerical order) eliminates 5 lines, and I believe 6 of a kind eliminates 4, and 5 of a kind 3. You can also do 3 pair and 2 sets of 3 for values that I don't remember. In any case, you'll get rid of at least one line as long as you have 6 pieces. And if you're in vs. mode, you'll send that number minus one lines over to your opponent's side (i.e. if you get that straight, you'll have 5 lines eliminated, and you're opponent will have 4 lines added to their side). Knowing that at least should make vs. mode somewhat playable.
