I do intend to get back on the streaming kick this coming week, though, so please look forward to that. Daily Castlevania-themed mapping streams as a Halloween tie-in seems like a good goal...?
Also, book patrons: Both books are currently being printed and should be in-hand in December.

2017-10-29 21:17:00 +0000 UTCI got this game for Christmas right after the SNES launch; our dad had unexpectedly brought home a launch-day console with F-Zero as a surprise reward for good behavior. I thought it was amazing and felt really frustrated that I couldn't get good at it no matter how much I worked; it wasn't until playing the PS1 R-Types conversion that I understood just how hard they tried to screw American console gamers.
