Or, more properly, MISS PEACH WORLD 1: SUPER L.A. COP. Be warned, this video is a bit on the NSFW side.
I don't normally delve into non-work-safe material unless it's germane to understanding the heritage or evolution of a totally benign-looking title (.e.g. Qix or Match-mania), but this was by request. So I apologize if you find tiny pixel nipples offended... but I assume we're all grown-ups here.
Anyway, as 8-bit smut goes, this is definitely the most interesting bit of filth to put under the retrospective lens. There were a fair number of softcore Famicom/NES games back in the day, but none with quite so remarkable a backstory as Miss Peach World.
Thanks to the patron who originally made this request — apologies that I didn't write down your name and can't seem to find the original message thread in which you requested a "controversial" topic! — and to Steve Lin/The Video Game History Foundation for lending me a physical copy of Miss Peach World. Surprisingly, no one has ever dumped the ROM to post online! Though I suspect that won't be the case for too much longer....
