No, I don't know why the "o" in "mission" is written as ø in this game's title, but technically that means it should be pronounced "Power Missiun." That would be ridiculous, of course, so... I didn't.

Anyway, it's a new Game Boy World episode! For a game that probably deserves a more comprehensive look than I can provide, honestly. I feel like this would probably constitute a hidden gem, but I (1) don't have anyone to play it against and (2) have little faith in my ability to parse what makes a good turn-based military strategy game, so... I guess you'll have to settle for my simply having brought it to light. It's weird to find a game so poorly documented online — of every GB title to have received a U.S. localization to date in this series, Power Missiøn is by far the least written-about. (Also, it's quite difficult to find complete, so thanks to Armen Ashekian for lending me the box!)

Since I find myself with more free time than anticipated this month, let's dig into some Super NES games next, shall we?
