Quick book poll!
Added 2016-03-18 18:24:21 +0000 UTCHello there to everyone who either will be receiving Game Boy World 1990 Vol. I through supporting this campaign or because you plan to pick up a copy down the road! I have a question for you. Namely, what format do you prefer for the book? I've received comments from a few people that they prefer larger books, so I'd like some feedback from you. Do you prefer:
1. The more compact size of Game Boy World 1989 (approx. 7x9") or
2. The larger size of Good Nintentions (8x10")?
I see merits and downsides to both, but I'd really appreciate your thoughts before I get too deeply into working on the layouts! Thank you in advance!

2016-03-21 22:49:48 +0000 UTCLittle late to the party, but I'd say Number 1. Keeps my shelf consistent and it is a little more "portable. "

2016-03-19 13:38:26 +0000 UTCI agree. As someone who has Game Boy World 1989 and intends to get at least a few more, it'd be great if they looked all neat and consistent on the shelf!

2016-03-19 11:25:50 +0000 UTCI like the smaller size for consistency, if you line up large and small format books in the same series the smaller ones get buried - but the large size is fine too if the design works better for you.

2016-03-19 04:32:25 +0000 UTCI would suggest keeping each series to a consistent size to satisfy my bookshelf OCD.

2016-03-19 00:32:30 +0000 UTCI think there's a distinct appeal to a consistent format for an archival collection. It's always frustrating having that one DVD box set on your shelf where the studio decided to switch to a completely different template for the last season. I also think there's something poetic about the Game Boy World format being the smaller, more portable younger brother to the Good Nintentions format.

2016-03-18 19:43:09 +0000 UTC#1 - as a guy who likes consistency on my bookshelf, it'd really bother me to have the first Game Boy World book be a different size than the second. It's also much easier for me to read a smaller book in bed.

2016-03-18 18:58:38 +0000 UTCI like the smaller size. It's far easier to travel with, and having the sizing be uniform among all volumes looks nice on a shelf.

2016-03-18 18:44:33 +0000 UTCLike other commenters I would prefer that the GBW books all be the same size purely for aesthetic reasons.

2016-03-18 18:42:44 +0000 UTCLarger size is definitely what I prefer.

2016-03-18 18:40:15 +0000 UTCI'd prefer they be the same size, be it the smaller size for GB90 or offering a larger size for GB89 that I can get through your storefront. But it's really only a matter of shelf aesthetics for me, if you feel the format works better in the larger size then go for it. You have a good eye for layout design, better than anything I could do, so I trust your judgment Jeremy!

2016-03-18 18:27:34 +0000 UTCFor the GB books I prefer it being more compact, nice and handheld like the Gameboy!
