Video perfection

Well, I've finally sorted it out, and am now able to capture flawless NES video. Hot damn.

I'm going to wrap up the last 7-8 episodes of Game Boy World 1990 Vol. I over the coming weeks, then drill down into NES games in earnest. I haven't tried R.O.B. with this setup yet, but I'm eager to play Stack-Up and Gyromite the way they were intended... and then never touch them again, because they're not actually any fun.

It's going to be all focused on U.S. releases, with occasional side excursions to round up notable Famicom releases. No way am I getting into the weeds that is the Famicom's hideous trash pile of a library except as a general survey!

These two little buttons on the Analogue NT that supposedly adjust its output volume. So far as I can tell, they don't change the volume of game sounds/music, just the amount of line buzz. It's kind of weird and I don't get it, but it works, so...?

What ended up being the fix?

Are we going more American with Good Nintentions versus the Japanese angle a lot of Game Boy games have gone? Or just playing it a bit looser and not going date-by-date? Just wondering how a game like Devil World might fit into all this.
