2026-01-04 04:01:09 +0000 UTCAh I understand Lucian needs Aurelia as an emergency guard dog and all but manifesting her beast form in front of a nation’s army in enemy territory... Shouldn’t he be worried revealing this? I’m worried for him. I mean wouldn’t word eventually spread to the demons from these witnesses about Aurelia’s appearance and whereabouts/affiliation with Lucian? Huh I’ve imagined that if there would be a green dragon, its element would be plant based. Considering there are eight dragons, for fire, water, holy, dark, lightning, ice, air, and earth, are there only eight existing elemental affinities? I thought there would be more elements like metal or poison. Not that I’m complaining, I just like to think about whether these known eight affinities are the only existing elemental ones.

2026-01-03 13:37:36 +0000 UTCI agree with Lucian on this sometimes you gotta out crazy the crazy to get em to be rational. Brutus is obviously someone who just can’t let shit go so you gotta do shit like this to get him to settle down.

2026-01-03 09:16:55 +0000 UTCAssuming that Brutus has not become friendlier and more rational, now having lost an eye, and potentially a lot of his face, Lucian might now be able to get him to back off by holding his honor hostage. Brutus really did make a vow, and all his men are currently present as witnesses. And Lucian has held up his end of the bargain. He has shown a skill that Brutus has never seen before, the mutual maiming notwithstanding. And so Brutus must now teach Lucian his choice of skill, by Brutus' own oath. And he can't do that if Lucian dies. I guess it all depends on how much Brutus values his reputation, and how the Veenish people see oathbreaking. If Brutus really wants to, he can still use his army to kill Lucian, or at least force Lucian and Aurelia to flee. Maybe even get his army to cover the whole thing up for him. But doing so would have the potential to leave a permanent black mark on his honor.
