Digimon Next Generation
Added 2024-08-16 18:51:02 +0000 UTCI think this might be a first. Like, for the world. The client, Eth, wanted me to draw some of the Digidestined's kids from the epilogue of Digimon 02.
Embarrassed dude on the left is Yamato and Sora's son. He's the second-youngest of his generation. In my headcanon he's named after his Uncle Taichi (he's often called "Taichin" to differentiate, a diminutive nickname That he hates) and has always wanted to prove how tough and mature he is to earn his place among the Big Kids.
Senpai on the right is Koushiro's daughter. She appears to be a couple of years older (no ages are given in the epilogue, but she's taller, at least.) In my headcanon she's as brilliant as her father, but much more whimsical and mischievous, as seen with her teasing here. And I have decided right now that her name is Umi.
I, for one, am honored to be a trailblazer in Digimon next-generation H art. Will I do more of it in the future? Will I inspire a whole new subgenre? We'll just have to wait and see.
