Sasha, Jenn, and I just woke up from an unforgettable night camping near the majestic Great Pyramid of Giza. We're all feeling thrilled and ready for more adventures around Cairo today!

Cairo is not just about ancient wonders; it's also a place where many communities need our support. As in many places of the world, the underprivileged areas of this city struggle with access to clean drinking water. Even as we go through our day today as sightseers, I’ll be thinking about this, and Sasha already is making contact with several agencies that work on a clean drinking water initiative.

Every moment here teaches us something new, and your support encourages us to keep exploring and helping. Stay tuned for more updates and make sure to check out our latest adventure in the photos I've just posted!

Our walk through history continues! We are visiting some of the great wonders of Egypt today.

Sasha Andy @acservices1999 Aimee Jenn @timetravelerjenn1997 and I have been exploring hard and fast. I’m sharing a couple of pictures from the Great Sphinx of Giza. This whole area is amazing.

Did you know the Sphinx, with its lion's body and a human head, is one of the oldest monumental sculptures in the world? And right behind me, the Great Pyramid, built as a tomb over a 20-year period, is the sole survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World! Both are testaments to Egypt’s glorious past and the ingenuity of its people. Can't wait to explore more and share it with you all!

Goodnight From Cairo

I’m back at the hotel in Cairo. It’s time to say goodnight.

Sasha Andy @acservices1999 Aimee Jenn @timetravelerjenn1997 had a great day today exploring and taking in the sights. Aimee and Andy are, by now, well on the way home, if they haven’t gotten there already.

As for Jenn, Sasha, and me, we’re going to hang around a little while longer. I think we found something we can pour ourselves into for a while.

Tomorrow, we plan to visit a local initiative that helps provide clean drinking water to underprivileged areas, a critical need here.
