This is not what you think. Not unless your thoughts are wholesome and innocent. 

My part in the Miss International AI event came (suddenly) to an end, and it's time to get out of New York. Sasha just arrived yesterday (Friday) and we are leaving… as soon as we get up and get dressed… so there was no sense in her getting her own room. Or unpacking more than what was needed for today.

So… we shared the room. We’ll probably do that a lot as we move on, as a way to save money and for the sake of convenience.

And, this time, we SLEPT in the same bed.

Slept, you see… as in unconsciously resting. Don’t let your imagination… well… I guess it’s too late for that!

We have a big day ahead. We are going to… Wait! I’ll just click-bait you into looking for the next post! Is that bad? Hmm… probably not as bad as what some of you were thinking when you saw the pictures!

Okay, we need to get going.

But first, on last, long bask in the morning sun looking out at that skyline!

Into The Sky, Across The Ocean

We made it to the airport. We got through security. We made it to the gate, out of breath and a little frantic.

Naturally, departure was delayed! We didn’t have to rush!

It wasn’t bad. Only a few minutes, then they started boarding.

So here we are…

The flight will be a bit over ten hours. And time changes…

To be honest, I have no idea what time it will be when we get there!

Where are we going, you ask?

I decided to make a trip to Turkey, to Insanbul, to potentially meet up with some of my followers! I’m not sure how that will work out, but… I can imagine some possibilities.

Anyway… Sasha and I are all set for a long flight. Watch for the next post! I’ll wait until we get to the hotel to send it.

The Galata Istanbul Hotel

We made it to Istanbul and to the hotel. Now, we need to check in and get to our rooms.

According to Tripadviser, “Istanbul is a city that mixes old and new, and the best way to explore it is through its mahalles (neighborhoods). Get your history fix in Beyoğlu—it’s chock-full of 19th-century European elegance—or head to Sultanahmet and see the holy sites. Well, I don’t know if we can do all that… But we’re here, and we are going to try to have some fun!
