Retiring the Patron Stream Tier

Hello friends. It is with a heavy heart that I come to you with the news that I will no longer be offering sketch requests via Patreon. I will be retiring the $15 tier starting August 1st.

I have absolutely loved taking on your request ideas and I always have fun with each individual sketch - but it's grown too much for me to handle as of recent months. I started this tier years ago, back when my sketch sales were also priced at $15. Honestly I never expected the tier to sell out, haha!

These requests are fantastic at taking me out of my comfort zone and giving me excuses to draw characters and concepts I wouldn't normally draw on my own. I just can't dedicate 2 days a month to drawing ~25 detailed requests anymore.

I don't want to give up on the sketch requests. Instead of scheduled, once-monthly Patron streams where I commit to drawing everyone in a certain tier's request... I'd like to start doing random, public sketch streams where I can choose when to stop taking requests! This way the raffle system on Picarto will actually have a use outside of selecting the order of the sketches. I'll announce those request streams via Discord and Twitter - be sure to have your Patreon and Discord linked or turn notifications on for my tweets so you don't miss out!

This takes the necessity and obligation out of these sketch requests, and turns it into something exciting again. And now more people will have the opportunity to get a free request drawn by me! This is something I might like doing for fun to fill the hole that removing this tier will leave. A thank-you to my followers, and an excuse to draw new things.

I look forward to trying out this new format, and I thank you all so much for supporting me.
