The Masters of the Gauntlet Handbook was released on December 18th, and in the past 6 weeks, I've truly been overwhelmed by your support. I'm beyond thankful for all of you. I can't say that enough.
The Third Release is coming within about the next week and will add the Tribal Hunter Barbarian, the Linguistics Bard, the Comet Dragons, and the new fan-favorite NPC, "Time, the Social Construct" (as well as the typical wave of revisions) for what I estimate to be approximately 7-9 new pages of content (and art)!
Some really great new things over the past couple weeks! Here's some highlights:
I've always been a big fan of the concept of Bards that specialize in other forms of art—painters or writers or dancers, rather than musicians. Was really, really pleased with how this one turned out both thematically and mechanically. The Vocal Projections are almost like metamagic that they can use their Bardic Inspiration on, and they can feasibly learn upwards of fourteen languages. Just fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some new spice for their Bard.
All these cosmic dragons have been a blast to design, but these Comet Dragons...so much fun to research and create. Some strong synergy in their abilities essentially playing a big game of keep away. (Good luck melee PCs!) And the Asteroid Dragons are a neat touch for a variant option.
Just a silly meme I posted on r/dndmemes that accidentally became my second highest upvoted post of all time (which is saying something considering I've been posting twice a week for ~10 months). To my players, if you're reading this, no. I would never do this. Never.
I've had the general concept of a thrown weapon Barbarian stewing for months. Finally got down to it and put it all together with a nice cohesive tribal theme, which drew reactions ranging from "Very nice" to "#@&$ing love this!" Quite pleased with this as well, which will be receiving notable revisions as it's included in MotG.
This was of those fairly silly ideas that struck me out of nowhere and I just couldn't let it go. Very fun and friendly robot NPC for your game.
That's all for now folks! Hoping/planning to finish up the Cosmic Dragons over the next couple weeks—Planetary next, then Nebula, then their deity the Dimensional Dragon (name pending). Stay tuned! And as always...
See you in the Arena!
