About signatures

Hello my dears!

I want to discuss with you one important thing.

As you could see, the last signatures packs were February ones. To be honest, I haven't expect that there will be so many signatures to make monthly and it will take so much time to produce them in the current format.

At the moment there are about 150-200 pics monthly and it takes about an hour to edit one of them. So, it's about 150-200 hours of work on editing, about 2 hours in studio for shooting that is often not possible since we are limited in our time in location or costume is very hard to wear.

I would like to spend that plenty of time for producing more interesting content (new costumes, shooting preparations, etc) and improving it's quality.

So im asking for your advice. What should I do? Making signatures in a selfie format? Replace this reward with something? Something else?\Please help me to choose!

Looking forward for your opinions!

With love,

Helly

seemingly most recommended Polaroid, however, someone who opt to digital contents' reason is remarkably that they prefer digital contents, due to that, for instance, physical contents are very inconvenient for them. I want to share one of my experience which occured about 1 years ago, I patronized but eventually got postcards and Polaroids about one half year later and such that I nearly forgot the thing. Why this sort happen? The reason is that my country's customs are very sophisticated and bureaucracy. So physical contents are not so wise and desirable for everyone, I consider. And in this context, I want to advocate a proposal there with timidity and dare is "Could you please let previous photo sets have opportunity to resurrect? ", namely, let high-level patrons have an opportunity to approach some certian photo sets they missed but really very expected, or at least open partly to them. And the other proposal is that substantial increment of photo quantity in every sets both 16+ and 18+, in this way, you would work a litter longer in every photograph taking and devise more engaging gestures to cope with extra photos' demand.

Oh, so that´ s why I never got a fansign. Well, this is a bad situation for you and for us. Maybe you should make something personal as a replacement, which is not as time consuming. Everything is better than nothing ;)

This is really the most godawful posting software I've ever encountered. I cant make a friggin paragraph by pressing ENTER without this stupid posting software actually instead sending the posting. And I cant even edit after the posting was sended, or delete it. I will try using Copy+Paste from a texteditor just so I can make friggin paragraphs and stay readable. Lets see if that works. Otherwise I'll just send my suggestions to Helly herself. Edit: yeah at least this way it works. - It would be best if we could just drop sigs completely, since they obviously really dont scale at all to a growing number of fans, but I would imagine newcomers would now consider that unfair and if we give sigs to newcomers but not people who stay longtime, the later will consider that unfair, too. - I think sigs are supposed to be something nice and extra. They came for free when they got introduced, i.e. they didnt raise any prices. A workload of 150-200 hours per month, more than a fulltime job on their own, is thus absolutely completely absurd for them. - Sigs are supposed to be something special, personal, and appreciative. Thus I dont see why they need to be a monthly event. I think however they should be high quality to make any sense. - Cellphone sigs specifically make no sense to me at all. Cellphone images are great because they are playful, spontaneous, unpredictable, and quick and easy to do. Having to hold up about a hundred name signs and making a cellphone image every time wont be any of that anymore, and I think the actual appreciation value wouldnt be very high either. Trying to cover all the problems described above as best I can, my proposal would be: - Everyone gets a welcome SFW sig for their first month with an eglible SFW subscription (Platinum), and another SFW sig after every additional 12 months of an SFW subscription - Everyone gets a welcome NSFW sig for their first month with an eglible NSFW subscription (Diamond and above), and another NSFW sig after every 12 months of an NSFW subscription - Master and Grandmaster lose the SFW sig; you one get one sig now to reduce the overall load. - For those who already received sigs, the last time they received them counts as the starting point for their next sigs - Obviously account spamming to get more sigs is a problem this way, as is work overload. Thus sigs should be marked as an optional possibility; they might be delayed or in case of doubt of account spamming witheld. This hopefully should reduce the workload to about 20 sigs per month, on average, which would still be 20 hours, honestly a higher number than I would like to see for this, but I think everyone should actually feel appreciated this way and this way sigs actually make sense. Unless everybody agrees we should just drop them because that would actually still be my favorite solution.

OMG what a poor posting interface. Anyway, Polaroids cant be edited, they are purely chemical. Its the digital signatures which are the problem.

Polaroids are obviously not editet at all.

The higher level digital tiers already receive digital selfies to replace the polaroids that the physical rewards tiers get..hmmm .... maybe adding a couple more .. or even one or two unique ones per Patron...

Mikey

The one item I truly miss since switching to Grandmaster Tier were the polaroid shots ... those and the signature pics always gave me a feeling of being a little bit special to someone .. (sounds weird I know) I don't really know what they could be replaced with to make things easier for you.. Maybe since selfies don't require the long amounts of processing and post production, for each Patron you could maybe make one or two more intimate/ more revealing selfies that are unique for each Patron (like how the polaroids are slightly different each time)... to replace the signatures? =~_~= now I sound like a deviate... lol oh well ... can't hide it.

Mikey

I agree with Anthony, Polaroid selfies for the physical reward Patreons and digital selfies for the digital reward Patreons will provide a unique touch to the appropriate supporting tier Patreons. I'd say once every 3 months should cut down on the work required. I also don't mind if it went away and was just replaced with something else entirely (like for example; more Patreon exclusive images or an increase of images obtained) as most images received is already unique to Patreons.

Еще я видел, как в проекте Redroom сигны в виде надписей на теле самой модели- то есть практически все тело расписано именами, правда, я не уверен, что это упростит процесс их создания, но выглядит красиво, на мой взгляд .

Vladimir

Возможно, для упрощения и для облегчения сигны стоит вообще убрать, если они отнимают так много времени и сил, и вместо них. например, давать патронам доп. фото

Vladimir

That's a lot of work! Polaroid selfies might be an idea if you want to produce something unique for every person, and should require less time / editing (hopefully at least). Maybe as a once in a while bonus... doing it every X months that someone has pledged should cut down on the number you have to do, even though that might be a pain to track. Personally I like the idea of something unique, but I wouldn't mind if it went away.
