Poll Results and September Update #1!

First things first, here are the results from the patrons' Content Posting Poll:

Do a monthly update here on the latest content: 8
Post everything here as it's released: 7
Keep only posting new content on Reddit/Discord: 4
Do a weekly update here on the latest content: 3

Due to how close it was between wanting just a monthly update and wanting everything posted here, I've decided to "split the difference," so to speak. I'll be posting a bi-weekly update on the latest content from now on—so updating on (typically) the 4 latest creations. Starting with this post right here!

Archons, Archons, and more Archons!

Archons are some of my favorite monsters from 3.5/Pathfinder. When looking into making the very well-received Titan Aasimar subrace, I realized just how few Celestial monsters there are in 5th Edition.

Eight. There are 8 Celestials. Only 1 of which has been added since 5e was released five years ago. (Okay, technically there are another 6 that were added in the Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica. So 14.) Compare that to Fiends, of which there are eighty-eight. 55 of which were added in Volo's and Mordenkainen's. (And again, technically another 4 on top of that, which were added in Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica.)

Needless to say, 5e is in desperate need of more Celestial monsters, and I've gladly taken to bringing these Archons back. Personal spotlight on the Sibyllic Guardian (a psionic celestial!). Probably my favorite thus far. :)

Elder Tempest Warlock subclass (Revised)

Some of you may remember the series of Warlock subclasses I made based on the Elder Elementals from Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. Some of you may not since they were some of my first brews I posted back in April!

These are easily some of my favorite subclasses I've made. I revised the Leviathan about 2 months ago, and the Phoenix and Zaratan, while balanced, will also be revised. Most notably, to change the old Elemental Arcanum feature, which left a bit to be desired thematically and wasn't quite in line with the typical defensive/utility Level 10 feature of Warlocks.

That's all for now! As usual, High-Res and Printer-Friendly PDFs of these can be found in the ever-growing Heroes of the Gauntlet Compendium, a perk for all patrons! Be sure to join the community over on Discord if you haven't already, and as always...

See you in the Arena!
