From the Vault - Courtney Evolution

She started as a rude, antagonistic, closed-off character, and I wanted to track her redemptive arc with a comic or something but I just didn't have the time or focus. So instead, I just softened her as I went, because I make the rules! Now she's internally driven to express her softness despite an external frosty layer that's slowly cracking away. That feels more relatable to me now.
I also gradually stopped treating her as though she belonged the Zootopia world. The hard part is deciding what world she belongs to now, but I'll worry about that when I have to. Maybe never!
