It is amazing that you see a lighter side of the delusion. My goodness, you have us smiling!

I told my son (who has Schizophrenia) about your video today, we laughed about it, and then he shared with me one of his persistent delusions. Thank you again and again for sharing your life with us. It has made it easier for me to communicate with my son in a way that feels safe for him. There’s a quote that goes something like “The scars you share become lighthouses for others who are headed for the same rocks.” 💕

I think having a good sense of humour about your delusion is key to coping with it. I think it’s amazing that you are able to make a video about it, post it online and have a a few giggles about it after. My delusions are a little more frightening and I still find them disturbing after 12 years. I would share them here but I’m afraid to trigger someone. Hank you for your time Lauren and Rob!

Maybe you could have some dolls on a shelf right outside the bathroom, and pick a different one each time to take with you. Just guessing …sorry I can’t just solve this for you. You are great, and give us wonderful insight every day. Thanks
