Your videos give me hope for our son. Thank you for sharing and providing insight into serious mental Illnesses.

I love this. Yes, people with mental illness can live full and meaningful lives...and I've learned from my son that it looks differently for different people. And thank you for so clearly including the LGBTQ community in this video - also, people just living their lives. The Progress flag on the trampoline is the best! My son identifies as gay...having two marginalized identities can be a challenge for him. But he has shown me - more than anything else in my life - what it truly means to live with courage and dignity. Love to you all.

Love this! Again, thank you for sharing these intimate moments of your life. For me it’s a reminder of how much this illness really does impact my sons life. Because this illness is one of many “invisible” illnesses, it’s easy to assume that everything’s fine, and why can’t you just work or go to school or whatever. I thing I hear a lot from family members is that my son is medicated so he’s fine, right? The answer I give to that question is, not always. I also love that you get on very well, and live a full life with ups and downs just like everyone else. Thank you for showing that people with mental illness are not ax wielding maniacs, but with the help of a loving support system, life can be pretty good! I also love that the people you co parent with are so nice and accepting. I feel like an ex partner could make things very difficult if they wanted an excuse to terminate visitation. You never know how people are going to react to the news that their kids are going to be around someone with mental illness, especially schizophrenia, and especially how schizophrenics are portrayed in movies and tv. Much love to you and your family, looking forward to the next video. 💕
