the speaker is a hairstylist. the listener comes to the stylist semi regularly, especially when they are getting ready for a date or social occasion. the speaker is giving the listener personal attention while exchanging life updates. I always liked the idea that hairstylists had quirky styles and tastes. While the listener is self conscious that they are to "normie" for the stylist, the stylist is self conscious they are to "hipster" for the listener. They arrive at this realization together, finding an opportunity to date at the end of the session

It tells the story of a gentleman stopping by the woods one evening on his way home, randomly ordering his horse to stop. He stares into the snowy woods for a minute in wonder before realizing he must go home. The only thing that seems somewhat melancholy to me is that he is alone. I think it would be lovely to run into (or be with) someone to share that moment with. Maybe the listener runs into someone in a similar situation.

Not out of malice or anything, but because the listener is nervous to be on a week long, close quarters vacation with the person they have feelings for. You find out though and are upset they didn't immediately ask you to go. You end up confronting them about it and learning the real reason for them not asking you. You accept and reciprocate their feelings and then you both go on a romantic cruise together. A different ending that I thought of though would be that at first you don't totally reciprocate the listener's feelings. It's not that you don't like them, but maybe there just hadn't been that spark for you yet. You two go on the cruise and in the middle of it the spark finally hits you. Then you end up doing a reverse confession, and you end the cruise as partners

How about shaking things up and having one where a friend of both the speaker and listener encouraged the two of us to go out due to a suspected match and are both pleasantly shocked to find out a blind date turns out to be one of the best first dates of their lives. The two get to experience a blind date with easy, fun, intense romantic sparks right out of the gates.
