2024-05-20 12:13:45 +0000 UTCListener is the CEO of a café chain, including shops all over the country and even internationally (I was thinking Glowbucks 🤪) HR has been getting a lot of complaints about the local boss of the first ever shop you worked in way back when and which is still close to our heart because of that, so the listener decides to secretly investigate. Listener goes to the shop regularly where your character is working as a barista. While the listener figures out if the local boss is indeed a problem (which he/she is) the cheerful character making the best of the toxic workplace, catches the listeners eye and when the toxic boss verbally abuses her, the listener reveals himself and fires the boss on the spot, putting your character in charge instead, after a short interview (which is only an excuse to get you alone so he can ask you out). (Bosses bosses bosses bosses boss to lovers) (undercover boss) (protecting me) (toxic workplace) Edit: I could apologize for this suggestion being so long and specific, but I don’t know how I could have pitched the idea with less words 😅

She had plenty of regulars and knew their orders, talk to them, etc. A new person shows up to the café and slowly but surely the listener and the café owner get closer and closer; it was really cute.

However, they're interested in accepting, and accepts this time.

2024-05-20 03:11:53 +0000 UTCOkay this is going to be a long concept but I think I can work, maybe. So we make the barista and the listener both from high school. The Barista is working a late shift on a winter day (it starts to rain) When the listener walks in the door (drenched and de-snivelled) having just ran 4 blocks to escape the rain (I’m thinking he plays soccer so hence why he looks that way) They both aren’t popular students but they know of each other (I’m thinking along the lines of both having mutual crush or feelings for each other) They show in an interest in one others hobbies (he mentions soccer, maybe write in she runs a book club?) Ultimately I think ending with friends to more might be a sweet way to see how this goes.
