Everything you said about Diddy was so true. Also, I had no idea capital murder was still even a thing in the U.S., so thank you for touching on that. That situation with the boy in Georgia honestly broke my heart... The justice system is very unserious with how it enforces the law, and let's be honest, prison doesn't work, so I completely get your point about why a lot of women are saying "screw criminal court" and just taking it to civil court and settling it there. Why waste your time re-traumatizing yourself when this person might not even be convicted? The thing with Zohran is that he wrote in "Ugandan," so, to me it seems more like confusion than anything else. Most applications just have "Black/African American" not "Black/African American" and "African." He was born partially raised in Uganda, and has Ugandan citizenship. So the situation doesn't read as this deep thing to me. Also, the way race/ethnicity is broken down on applications is just weird. Arabs, Iranians, and Central Asians are considered "white" even though they are definitely not considered white in any other context. The shit is confusing.
