Thank you for your kind words

I was surprised by the death scene as well! Had no idea so I dont blame you for watching something lighter and where he is still alive and well. But the movie ends in such a beautiful way with some hope and light thankfully

This is the first time I've seen this. I finally had an excuse to watch it. Robin Williams performance was great. You probably recognized the actor who plays Neil as Doctor House's friend Dr. Wilson in House. His name is Robert Sean Leonard and 20-30 years later his face looked mostly unchanged. Neils death was so hard that I stopped the video for a while and instead watched some scenes from House of that actor and Dr. House just hanging out. That scene was rough.

There's a great video on YouTube I think you will like. Robin Williams - "Seize the Day" - by Melodysheep It's a beautiful tribute.

I love what you said at the start of the video about Robin Williams. "He really had a special heart and he loved deeply. And he chose specific roles to show that love. To kind of awaken that love for everybody. And we have these now. This gift he's left us." You always speak so beautifully, you have so much love in your heart. I grew up watching Robin Williams, he was a big part of my childhood. It was my first time seeing this one, I've not seen many of his more serious roles, but he's left behind a great collection of work, from movies like Hook, to Mrs Doubtfire, Jumanji, Bicentennial Man, Aladdin, Jack. And only he could play the part of Jack, he had that childlike innocence to him. I watched Hook again at Christmas, I think it's a great time of the year to watch it. I also watched the movie Finding Neverland. I had never seen that before, I thought Johnny Depp did a good job with the Scottish accent, just like you did in Outlander 7x14 when you said "Ye Dinna Get Used to It." You sounded so beautiful Imon. I could get used to hearing you talk like that. I love Mr Keating's style of teaching. I wish I had a teacher like him growing up, patient, understanding, but also knows when to push you outside of your comfort zone. I liked that scene where the students are learning poetry from that book "Understanding Poetry" which teaches them to rate poetry like it's a math class. But Mr Keating tells them to tear out those pages and teaches them that poetry can't be measured, it has to be felt, it should move you, it should stir something up inside and make you see and feel things differently. I'm no expert on poetry, but I remember you talked about a poem you love by Khalil Gibran. Do Not Love Half Lovers. Do not love half lovers. Do not entertain half friends. Do not indulge in works of the half talented. Do not live half a life and do not die a half death. If you choose silence then be silent. When you speak do so until you are finished. Do not silence yourself to say something. And do not speak to be silent. If you accept then express it bluntly. Do not mask it. If you refuse then be clear about it for an ambiguous refusal is but a weak acceptance. Do not accept half a solution. Do not believe half truths. Do not dream half a dream. Do not fantasize about half hopes. Half a drink will not quench your thirst. Half a meal will not satiate your hunger. Half the way will get you no where. Half an idea will bear you no results. Your other half is not the one you love. It is you in another time yet in the same space. It is you when you are not. Half a life is a life you didn't live. A word you have not said. A smile you postponed. A love you have not had. A friendship you did not know. To reach and not arrive. Work and not work. Attend only to be absent. What makes you a stranger to them closest to you and they strangers to you. The half is a mere moment of inability but you are able for you are not half a being. You are a whole that exists to live a life not half a life. The ending to this story was so tragic, deep down Neil's father only wanted the best for him, I thought that when his father came to see the play it would be good for him to see a side of his son that he never knew. But instead he tells Neil he's taking him out of school, and in doing so he took it all away, all his passion, his joy, his hope. I just wish Neil took the time to talk to his parents again, to his friends, or to Mr Keating. It didn't have to end like that, he had so much to offer the world. I thought the students gave Mr Keating a beautiful send off when they stood on their desks, a standing ovation. They listened to their hearts. You speak so beautifully of Robin Williams. I love what you said. "He is the embodiment of be who you are. Be authentically you. One hundred percent you. It doesn't matter if your arms are wriggling here, and over here. And you're like, flying up here and you're talking at the speed of light. It doesn't matter. You be who you are. And that's Robin Williams." I love what you said at the end about Mr Keating. "Mr Keating of course lights the spark that's already there in a lot of the boys. But kids like Todd didn't have it. He had the candle, he just needed the light. So finally the match was lit and there's the light. And you can't take out his fire. And by the end of the movie he's the first to stand and say, O Captain! My Captain! Because he's trying to say and show Mr Keating that you did not do this in vein. You taught us everything. That's all we needed. Thank you so much. This is going to help me for the rest of my life. And help all of us. And that's why Mr Keating at the end says, Thank you boys. Thank you. Because it's like that thing. Of like, we're gonna be okay, we're gonna be okay. It's just so beautiful." I also loved that wee bit at the end when you took the time to pay your respects to Robin Williams. "He is the one who's reminded me of my happy place. And because of him I know how to fly, you know? I know how to fly because of Robin Williams." The way you talk Imon. I really do hope you realize just how beautiful you really are. This hope that you have, your passion. You're a bonnie lass. <3
