Wow your already on season 5 of Supernatural? I haven't really been keeping up with Patreon, but great, as mentioned it was meant to be the final season with the original creator Eric Kripke, so everything so far has been a build up to this, an epic season with the biggest baddest Supernatural being there is, Lucifer! Also Dean really doesn't look at Sam the same way, it shows this season (and we'll after) their bond is not the same.😔

2024-11-26 16:57:00 +0000 UTCThe creator for SPN did only plan for 5 seasons and those seasons do come to a great conclusion, but the new showrunners do pick up on threads from those 5 seasons for future storylines. Everything does tie together for the entirety of the 15 seasons. Yes, some seasons are weaker than others but honestly some of the later storylines and seasons are better than the first five to me. My favorite episode ever is in season 11, and my favorite story arc is in seasons 9-10. Although season 1-5 are phenomenal and tell a great story, with season 5 probably being the best out of the first 5 to me, I do find a lot of the later stories have much more depth and maturity. That is possibly due to growing up with these characters for 15 years. I hate when people say to stop the show after season 5 because these guys put in some incredible performances and the writers and directors did a hell of a job continuing the story for 10 more years. So to me ...if you are a fan of the show...you stick with the show for the entire 15 seasons, not just the first 5. Even the creator Eric Kripke said in an interview that he was happy the show went on....he felt that he couldn't contribute anymore because the story he wanted to tell was told, but that he felt that the characters of Sam and Dean had more life in them. So just because he left, doesn't mean the show ended. Plus Kripke had some say in the storylines in those later seasons and even provided Jensen and Jared an outside perspective to bounce ideas off of. If there was any bad blood between Kripke and them continuing the show...Kripke would never have hired Jensen to be on The Boys and he would never have brought on so many SPN cast members to be on that show. In my opinion, the entire show ....all 15 seasons are worth it to watch, even the weaker seasons have merit...there are so many other shows out there where even their strongest season doesn't even come close to being as entertaining or have as great as acting as SPN's weaker seasons. I mean come on....the chemistry between Jensen and Jared alone is enough to keep me watching every season over and over again! LOL

In the season 4 finale there's the powerful moment when Bobby goes off on John Winchester and says Dean is better than him. In Bobby's first episode ever there's a mention that there were issues between Bobby and John Winchester. I'm guessing that Bobby thought John was being a bad parent to Sam and Dean. That's my fan theory and I'm sticking with it. Then Bobby basically overcomes his possession to save Dean and stabs himself, and Meg refers to him as "Dad" for a split second right before that. I love Bobby's character, he looks so gruff and scary on the outside but he really does everything he can to protect the boys.

2024-11-19 05:34:59 +0000 UTCAs someone below me said Imon, you have to remember the creator of the show didn't plan for it to go 15 seasons. So 1 through 5 is almost like it's own closed arc in a sense. As the maker originally intended. It was just so popular they kept going.
