2024-06-22 06:52:42 +0000 UTCWho would've thought that Naomi's decision way back in S2 would've had this magnitude of impact that ends up linking up to this episode! One of the wildest episodes I ever seen in a tv show and most surprising. Most "destroy the earth" plans of a villain are typically stopped by a miracle at the last second by the good guys. Here in this show...the diabolical plan is allowed to occur and my gods was it shocking!

2024-06-13 19:45:49 +0000 UTCAlthough not my most favorite episode, this one is such a wild ride! Blow after blow. I had mentioned this season might be difficult and now you are starting to see why. So many layers of complexity but also very intimate relationships at stake. When I first watched this episode, I knew some of what might happen as a book reader and after the scene with Alex and Bobbie I had to stop and just get emotional about her story of grief and how it gets used up. She is way ahead of Alex on this journey. He is lucky to have her with him for sure. And Frankie H I live a little west of Syracuse so, yeah, cool to hear local places mentioned in the show!

They said the rock hit 40 km northwest of Philadelphia and if they're having trouble making contact with New York City which is probably 80 miles/130 km away, then Philly is probably in much worse shape. Also they said the second rock hit 40 km northwest of Philadelphia, but looking at the newsfeed footage it looks like it's actually 40 miles/60 km from Philly, which would put the asteroid impact somewhere between Reading PA and Allentown PA. I looked at the satellite image at 16:12 video timestamp to narrow it down. It's pretty cool when the area you live in is mentioned in shows. At around 39:16, if my mom hissed at me like that I'd really rethink my life choices.
