Sam Story (ALT)
Added 2022-03-19 17:37:13 +0000 UTCSo, this is a little "alternate take" of the Sam's story I made for the March poll; originally I had plans to have this figure, sort of a "counselor" that would be in charge of changing Sam's personality, but IDK, I don't quite like to add new characters just because.
In any case: take a look, maybe I could do something with this idea?

Oh, yes, Samantha “Sam” Manson, one of the most difficult cases in Casper High: an angry goth girl who never hesitated twice to make her voice heard, whether she was actually right about her “latest” crusade or not.
I wasn’t sure how to deal with her at first when I was assigned her case as the new counselor: she was particular, how do I put it? Shrewie? Hostile? Not exactly open to new ideas: when she was set in her ways, it was very difficult to make her change her mind.
But now as a requisite to graduate, you have to join a school club, and I suggested the one that was probably the best for a girl with her… “issues”.
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” she protested when I told him at my office my suggestion.
“I do have a sense of humor but I swear I don’t use it in school, young lady” I replied.
“You can’t really expect me to join the freaking cheerleaders!”
Oh yeah, I was serious; if anything, Samantha needed two things over any other: make new friends, but mostly, friends that weren’t part of her usual circle.
“It will do you a lot of good to relate with different kinds of people”, I stated.
“Ugh, but all those vapid airheads that think in nothing but in boys, makeup and more makeup?!
“Young lady, being a cheerleader is way more than such a stereotype: they’re athletes that require a lot of training and discipline, and honestly, those could do you a lot of good!”
She didn’t have a lot of options in any case: all the signups for the other clubs were closed, and the cheerleader squad can always use a new girl.
And a new girl they’ll get…
Sam looked so clumsy on her first day; ugh, she didn’t even fix her hair, she indeed looked so out of place at first, and it’s kind of a shame because, honestly? She wasn’t a bad athlete! She had a lot of potential, she just needed the right help.
“Do you want me to be nice with that freak?” Paulina, the head cheerleader said to me when I had a chance to talk with her after the training. “I’m already doing quite a lot just like, allowing her to be with us in the first place!”
